Oh, what can you NOT say about Fawnlake? Not only is this little neighborhood about location…every time I think about it, I think about the ducks!  Let’s check it out!

The focal point of this quaint subdivision are its three lakes in which the homes here have been built around.  It is not uncommon to see local residents fishing, walking along the trails, kids out playing in the cul-de-sacs and feeding the neighborhood ducks.

Most of the approximately 195 homes were built in the early 2000s; and children here attend Katy Elementary, Katy Junior High, and Katy High School, home of district football champions.  Not too far down the street from the subdivision is Mary Jo Peckham park and aquatic fitness center which residents of Harris County have access to use. There’s also the Katy PlayStation park and Katy dog park.

It’s nestled close enough to downtown Katy where you can enjoy boutique and antique shops as well as convenient access to major highways such as I-10.

This quaint community offers affordable housing from the upper $100 to mid $200,000 price range and if you ask the residents, they’ll tell you they love the community feel, peaceful atmosphere and natural landscape.

To me, when you come into Fawnlake you feel like you’re home. This, along with the wildlife make this one of my favorite little neighborhoods…there’s no quack about it.
